Students completing their M1 year can apply to the Department of Family and Community Medicine Research Division Summer Experience. Students will be matched with an ongoing project aligning their interests and learning opportunities, partnering with a research faculty and staff mentor to work toward a summer goal. This often culminates in co-authorship of a manuscript or presentation at a national conference. Students can use the CommonApp and search under Family Medicine to apply.
